An article by Alex Gariano on the website Ulookhaute shares with readers about the art of face mapping, what your body is trying to tell you through pimples. So according to that article, face mapping is a type of skin analysis whereby it tells you why pimples are appearing on different part of your face.
Please note that i have combined these information from both the Glamour.com and Skinacea.com articles for this post. Also, these are just general guidelines; everyone's skin is different. Factors like dirty hair, pillowcases, phones, makeup brushes/sponges or sensitivity to your skincare products can also be the cause.
The different zones (1 to 14) tells you the likely cause of your blemishes and how to prevent future breakouts.
Zone 1 & 3 (Forehead):
Causes - irregular sleep pattern, stress, liver issues and digestive problems.
Solution - Drink more water. Have a healthier diet; eat less sugary food and more healthier food. Practice relxation techniques.
Zone 2 (Between Brows):
Causes - Liver issues. Too much alcohol and tobacco. Weak heart.
Solution - Exercise more. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Avoid rich food like butter and cheese (Dairy).
Zone 6 & 8 (Temples):
Causes -Too much processed food. High in fats diet. Gallbladder issues.
Solution - Eat less junk food and fast food. Eat less unhealthy fats (etc. Junk food). Eat more cooling food like bitter melon and cucumbers.

Solution - Don't eat before bed. Eat more fruits and vegetables. Rest more. Sleep at least 7 to 8 hours. Exercise at least 20 mins every day. Relax (meditation, listen to music, yoga, etc.). Drink spearmint tea. Omega 3 to regulate hormones.
Zone 14 (neck):
Causes - Illness.
